Sure our car is only worth $500, but the safety equipment is quite a bit more. And we’ll use up things like tires and brake pads.

Usually sponsors help with these things, but in our case, they do quite a lot more, especially when it comes to removing, avoiding or measuring carbon.

And in the true Lemons spirit, our sponsors frequently offer things that are better, faster, cheaper and more fun than the alternatives.

Here’s a bit about them.

Applied Carbon will remove all of the carbon emitted from the time our 1987 924s was produced, through it’s life with about ~10 owners. We don’t know the full extent of adventures, but we think about 75 tons of carbon.

SwellCycle makes large, high performance 3D printed shapes from recycled and bioplastics. People already love their surfboards and they made us a few weight reducing parts – see if you can spot them in the pictures.

Thalo Labs makes AI technicians to manage HVAC equipment – they track things like refrigerant leaks or failing compressors. We deleted our AC but Thalo is helping us precisely measure our GHG emissions.
