SAFETY PREP II

Fire system install is mostly done. The 3 gold nozzles are placed per instructions. It’s a bit tricky since you expect the hottest places + fuel lines to be the riskiest. Most of the action is on the passenger side. In earlier cars, the fuel lines also run up into the engine bay near the exhaust manifold! Luckily they now run up the cold side but there is break/clutch fluid there so still makes sense to have the nozzle on the driver side too.

Below the setup for the driver (no plans for racing with passengers). One nozzle pointed at the upper legs/crotch/stomach area (the blue nozzle below). And then another nozzle pointed down into the footwell, mounted alongside the ECU. Still some cleanup to do with cable management, but this took a bit of figuring and seems to be ok. The nice looking bits are 3d printed from PETG CF and we’ll talk about the pro looking buttons another time.

Yeah, thats a yoga matt for downward dashboard moves to get under the dash for planning, test fitting, etc.
